The body was immediately taken into custody by the Naveen Modern police station of Shravasti and sent for post-mortem. Following this incident, the police registered a case of abetment to suicide against five staff members, including the school manager, based on a complaint filed by Shubhi’s father.
Background of Shubhi Singh and Circumstances of Disappearance
Shubhi Singh, a resident of Chakwa village in Bhinga Kotwali area, was employed as a teacher at St. Anthony Public School. On Monday morning around 11 am, she left home intending to go to school but did not return. When she did not come back by late evening, her father Rajesh Kumar Singh and other family members began searching for her and filed a missing person report that same night.
